In April 2014, our company established a large bulk cement transfer station at No. 5 port of Jiangyin. The project was predicted to consume a time of half a year. After completion, it will complete transfer service for daily output of 2000 tons of cement, which not only can enhance the transfer storage amount of cement, but also greatly reduce the transport cost.
The transfer station adopted the most advanced technologies at home and abroad, equipped with four large cement warehouses, which can store 12,000 tons of bulk cement. The cement warehouses have gone through a restrict inspection and screening in the aspects such as design, geological exploration, foundation pile, civil engineering and equipment purchase. In the aspect of steel silo: The body is made of double-side quality galvanized steel, with a zinc content not lower than 275g/㎡. The materials of all exposed parts of the silo are hot galvanized parts. The silo is made at the site with SGH340 quality hot galvanized steel plate. The processing and production unit is 12 European latest imported technical units, with a high rigidity and a good sealing performance. In the aspect of ship un-loader: it adopts tape winding machine, whose winding capacity can reach 328m³/h, chain speed can reach 92.4m/min, enhancing height can reach 37,900mm; the winding capacity of bucket type winding machine can reach 31,820mm, with a delivery capacity of 165m³/h and a chain speed of 31m/min; in the aspect of packaging machine: eight-mouth rotating cement and ton packaging machine, with an output of 90-120t/h and 20-60t/h respectively; in the aspect of auxiliary equipment: the silo bottom un-loading equipment can finish an unloading capacity of 20-150m³/h. The said transfer station of cement is expected to put into use in the near future.
At present, China maintains a good relationship with countries of the Central Africa. Large projects of African countries are built in succession, whose demand for cement has risen abruptly, especially for considerable use of bulk cement. After the completion of transfer station of cement at Jiangyin, the bulk cement was directly output from the transfer station and packaged and loaded onto cargo ships, which had greatly eased the pressure of cement transport and reduced the transport cost.
